Dates: Tuesdays, November 18, 25, December 2, 9, 2008

PDP’s: 10 Hours

Time: 3:45-6:00 PM

Fee: $50 for Member Districts $195 for non-Member Districts

Description: Participants will make-and-take many samples that integrate math with art. Areas of study may include origami, tessellations, symmography, paper weaving etc. All projects can be tied in with the MA Mathematics Curriculum Framework and are aimed at reinforcing its principles and standards. Each participant will create an integrated unit appropriate for use in the classroom.
