The focus of each workshop will be to review specific math strands, analyze MCAS test items that assess those strands, and discuss instructional strategies and support material that are appropriate to address these concepts. Time will be spent on instruction and strategies in the use of TI technology as it is a tool that has been proven to enhance at-risk student performance. Additionally, materials developed by the collaborative will be made available to participants.
