Audience:             Grade 1-6 Classroom Teachers

Dates:                         Wednesdays Jan. 14, 21, Feb. 11, Mar. 4, 11, Apr. 1

Location:             Veterans Memorial School, 39 Hurd Avenue, Saugus, MA 01906

Time:              3:30 – 6 PM

PDP’s:             15 Hours  or 1 Non-Degree Graduate Credit (Major Project Required)

Fee:                 $75 for Member Districts $295 for Non-Member Districts

                        Non-Degree Graduate Credit – Additional $100 (Check made out to Salem State College)

Description:

Data from MCAS scores suggest that some students know more than they show in their response answers. For other students, open response questions can reveal a lack of deep understanding — an inability to go further up Bloom’s taxonomy of thinking. This workshop will help you to improve the quality of open response answers in all content areas including response to literature.
